MCP (Model Context Protocol) connects your AI assistant to real-world services like Skala. Ask your AI about your companies, deadlines, or what Skala offers — it pulls the context straight from the platform and can act on it right inside the chat.
Skala MCP works with any client that supports the Model Context Protocol — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, VS Code, and others. All you need is the endpoint: https://ai.skala.io/mcp. See below for setup details.
Some tools are public and work without signing in. Others require you to sign in to your Skala account so the AI can access your data.
Install Skala MCP across all supported AI clients at once:
npx add-mcp https://ai.skala.io/mcpBelow are step-by-step instructions for specific clients. If your client isn't listed, add a new MCP server in its settings and paste the endpoint URL.
Skala isn't in the directory yet — use other options for now.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user Skala https://ai.skala.io/mcpThis connector uses OAuth 2.1 for access to your data on Skala (your companies, tasks, deadlines). You only need a free Skala account — your AI assistant will walk you through sign-in (or sign-up) the first time you connect.
Public tools (catalogs, resources, support requests) work even without signing in.
Open Claude Connectors and check that the Skala connector shows as connected. If it's disconnected, click Connect and complete the OAuth sign-in flow.
Re-authenticate: disconnect and reconnect the Skala connector. Restarting your Claude session can also trigger a fresh authentication flow.
